I have heard the story of a platoon

for others is the spiritual way to protection. When your life is involved
in alleviating the suffering
and heartaches others have; when you desire to be alone so that you can

Then you are aligned with God; that is, you now think as He does. But why
then does He allow the suffering in the first place? Grief can be so
grounding. It takes one away from the enveloping 'fluff' of living and
returns one to what really matters in our lives .
