dwell where there is imperfection. That's why He gave you the gift
of His righteousness -Romans
5:17 "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one, much more they
which receive abundance of grace
and of the gift of righteousness shall
reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." Ephesians
2:4-6 "But God who is rich in mercy for his great love wherewith he
loved us even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened
us together with Christ. By grace ye are saved. And hath raised us up together
and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."-So
you must be as righteous
as you can be in the Father's eyes, right!
the gospel gives one
the power of
God. When you are righteous because
of the finished work of Christ, this qualifies
you for the power of God, the power of the
gospel, to work in your life, and through your heart outward.
As the power
of God works in you, you grow in faith -Romans
1:16,17 "For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God unto salvation
to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek-(what
this means). For
is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith. As it is
written, The just shall live by faith."
One grows in
faith through the knowledge of God -2Peter
3:18 "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge
of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory-(means
in the original 'in Him is glory')-both
now and for ever. Amen."
is belief different from faith? Basically they are synonyms,
however there is a subtle difference:
Believe is 'to
accept as true' and faith (living faith) is to live out one's beliefs
with confidence. We act from our beliefs (the things we hold as true) and
out of those beliefs we
know they will produce something we want.
Belief can be
thought of as the state of your having accepted God's word, because God
gave you the gift of faith; that is,
God has given you the ability to live a life of actions based upon the
art of love you can now learn about.
into actions what he has decided, convinced this will produce what
he believes to be true.
In things regarding
God, some may not occur in this life, but we know them to be true, because
we trust God -1Corinthians
13:12 "For now we see
through a glass, darkly; but then face to face. Now I know in part;
but then shall I know even as also I am known."
God for the
gift of eternal life and your reward there
for your actions here -Hebrews
11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence
of things not seen." Faith produces things-–-but
is involved in the trying of faith in order to set character.
in your mind, you agree to be good for you (thus, the importance of correct
spiritual information), you have accepted it. It becomes you.
What you accept,
becomes part of what it is that comprises-you.
Keep thinking that you are what God says of you; after all, why not think
word of God causes it to be effective in your experience: 1Thessalonians
2:13 "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when
you received the word of God which you heard of us, ye received it not
as the word of men, but as it is in
truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that
